| March 10 | First meeting of Citizens’
Advisory Committee. Afterward, technical committee reviews comments made at the meeting. |

| April 7 | Second meeting of Citizens’
Advisory Committee. The committee makes recommendations on options presented by technical committee. Technical committee uses recommendations to further refine bridge design concept and project budget. |

| June 9 | Citizens’ Advisory
Committee and technical committee meet to review current design options. |
||
| June 24 | Technical committee presents design decision document to NDDOT director and the cities of Bismarck and Mandan for their comments. | ||
| July 14 | NDDOT director makes final
decision on bridge design and development. Actual design of the bridge begins. |
