• June 2006 - Strip topsoil; remove trees, meat plant, and house foundation.

• June 2006 - Set up staging area and move in equipment.

• June or July 2006 – Put up screen fence and safety fence around perimeter of work area.

• July 2006 – Build dock on west side of river.

• July 2006 – Start pile driving and construction of piers 7 & 8.

• September 2006 – Start construction of the east approach bridge progressing from the abutment to the river.

• Fall 2006 – Start construction of the MSE wall at the east abutment.

• Fall 2006 – Finish piers 7 and 8 before the ice pack.

• Winter 2006 – Start pile driving and construction of piers 10 and 11.

• Winter 2006 – Start pile driving and construction of south half of the west abutment.

• Spring 2007 – Start pile driving and construction of pier 9.

• Summer 2007 – Set structural steel for river spans.

• Summer 2007 – Pour deck concrete for approach bridges.

• Spring/Summer 2008 – Pour deck concrete for river span.

• Summer 2008 – Switch traffic from old bridge to new bridge.

• Summer 2008 – Transfer utilities from old bridge to new bridge.

• Fall 2008 – Finish construction of the north half of the west approach bridge.

• Summer 2009– Finish plazas, demolition old bridge.
